    Friendly staff and pleasant stay.

Despite these minor setbacks, I still had a pleasant stay overall. The hostel is located within walking distance of the center and the water, which was convenient.

The value for money at this hostel was great, especially with the free upgraded private room. The location was perfect for going to the Astor Theatre and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The breakfast experience could have been improved with some orange juice.

The value for money at this hostel was excellent! The room was comfortable and I loved having my own bathroom. The location was convenient, with a bus stop right in front and the city center within walking distance. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

The breakfast offerings could be improved with more variety.

I had a fantastic one night stay at the Billabong in Perth. As a solo traveler, I felt completely at ease thanks to the friendly and helpful staff who made my first hostel experience a breeze. The hostel was surprisingly clean and had all the necessary amenities like a big outdoor pool area, movie room, and spacious kitchen. The buses conveniently stopped right outside, making it easy to get around and connect with airport shuttles. Special shoutout to David, the night shift receptionist, who went above and beyond by jump starting my car when I was in a tight spot. The staff at this place are truly excellent!

    I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at a well-located hostel with a bus stop at the door and just a short walk from the downtown area. the staff was friendly and helpful, and the private room we had was clean, comfortable, and had its own bathroom and balcony. the hostel had a nice pool area and kitchens, and we enjoyed sitting by the pool, having a drink, and chatting with other guests. the free breakfast provided each morning was a great perk, and the kitchen facilities were the best we've had in a hostel. we had a nice stay at Billabong Backpackers Resort. Cons: Nothing all good. 👍.

The hostel offered a free breakfast and a home-cooked evening meal for a small fee, which was a great money-saving option over the Christmas period. The location was ideal, with plenty of cafes, restaurants, and bars within walking distance. the staff were cheerful and helpful, providing us with valuable information about the area and transport options.

The lack of cleanliness was a downside. The rooms were not properly cleaned, and there were even stains on the bed sheets.

The breakfast at Billabong Backpackers Resort was really good, with a nice variety of cereals and toast. I also enjoyed the $5 dinner option, which was a great deal. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The private room I stayed in was simple but clean and comfortable. The location was convenient, with plenty of cafes and eateries nearby. I had a pleasant experience at this backpackers and would definitely recommend it.

Top bloke at the front desk, making me feel comfortable. Free events and free breakfast. $5 dinners were decent. Pool and clean cooking facilities. Large, run-down room for a good price. Friendly atmosphere and quiet at night. Close to center with bus stop. Convenient for families. Good food options. Accommodating for mobility issues. Convenient bus stop and free parking. Working aircon and hot shower. Basic but clean room. Safe and quiet.

The breakfast was satisfactory. Spacious and quiet rooms, even next to the lifts. Their free courtesy shuttle into town was extremely convenient, especially during the rainy Christmas season.

Not very clean. Woke up to a humongous cockroach on my backpack next to the bed.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. the location couldn't have been better, with easy access to all the local attractions and nightlife. Plus, the $5 daily budget meals were an absolute lifesaver for travelers on a tight budget. we had a great time making new friends and enjoying the poolside vibes.

the rooms were a bit hot and stuffy, and some of them didn't have air conditioning.

Great communal areas with affordable meals and entertainment options like pool tables and TVs. Plenty of plug sockets in the rooms. - Convenient location within walking distance to the city center.

Run-down and dirty-looking rooms with smelly carpets. Noise issue, even on higher floors, making it difficult to sleep.

The location of the hostel is convenient, with an underground station just a short walk away, making it easy to explore the city. Additionally, the breakfast provided is good, offering a tasty start to the day. The rooms are clean and the hot showers are a welcome amenity after a long day of sightseeing.

It is worth noting that some customers have complained about the lack of helpfulness from individual staff members.
